Project Description: For 6 years, Children’s HeartLink has been assisting the 1st Hospital of Lanzhou University with its pediatric cardiology program through missions, education and training. Children's HeartLink facilitated new regional collaboration - a training relationship between Shanghai Children’s Medical Center—one of China’s finest hospitals—and Lanzhou. A mid-2006 mission led by experts from Shanghai will let doctors from Lanzhou to observe and participate in heart surgeries and transcatheter procedures.
