Project Description: Childrens HeartLink is supporting the planning and initial implementation of a Rheumatic Fever prevention program and a study of the causative agent for rheumatic fever. This project has been undertaken in collaboration with St. Johns University in Bangalore and Dr. Ed Kaplan, cardiologist and Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Minnesota and Head of the WHO Collaborating Center for Reference and Research on Streptococci.
