Project Description: In 1975, Children’s HeartLink formed a partnership with Nairobi Hospital which has resulted in training most members of the Kenyan cardiac team; technical assistance in a wide variety of areas; donated medical supplies and equipment including a transcatheter lab; and funding to support surgery for up to 25 children per year. Children’s HeartLink will continue support the hospital by adding a mobile echocardiogram unit, updating the catheter lab, and adding an intensivist to the cardiac team.
