Project Description: After working with the Lviv program for close to 6 years, Children’s HeartLink has started to build a regional training partnership between Lviv and the more advanced program at University Children's Hospital (UCH) of Cracow, Poland. With encouragement from Children’s HeartLink, the chief cardiac surgeon at UCH made a commitment to help the program in Lviv. This partnership has produced noticeable changes in Lviv's medical culture, resulting in better care and outcomes for Ukrainian children.
